The Monsoon Season in Bangladesh
The other countries rain is being prayed for, craps and people are suffering because of the lack of water. There are places in Africa where this experiences occurs in which having a little rain because a blessing to them and heavy rain is a miracle for them. However if the water is lacking in some places there also places in the world where water is too much, so much that it becomes a disaster to many people that results economic crisis.
Bangladesh is one of those countries who sometimes suffer from having too much rain. There are times where monsoon season gives them heavy rainfall that covers a lot of places, by estimation 80% of heavy rainfall in Bangladesh occurs during the month of June through October and because of that many cities in that country suffers from too much water. There are cities and places in Bangladesh suffers from floods after the monsoon season, to be exact one third of Bangladesh suffered from this.
There is a place northwest of Bangladesh where Hatibandha is located suffers from floods the most. This place is prone to land slide erosion, floods that causes the land to change. And because of this communities and places like Hatibandha receives the major disaster.
During the season of monsoon, people is suffering in shortage of food as their farms got flooded and died. They are also suffering from loss of electricity since they cannot run the power during the flood. One of the problem also occurs is the place to stay, many places in Bangladesh is undersea level that causes them to loss their houses as well. With floods all over the place people are sometimes getting place because the water they take are getting contaminated that results to more problem to their families.
Even though government has their preparations before the monsoon season strikes they are still encountering major problem such as the lack of facilities and also people to help. Local government that is affected by floods can sometimes do a little work because they themselves are affect by it.
When flood started people are starting to prepare their food, however since monsoon weather stays for almost 3 months the food the every family prepared for is still lacking. With the floods schools are also closed leading to disruption of their education. Though people already solved this by moving their house into the higher ground, they still affected by the flood especially with their education and needing of food. During Rainy days they have to use boat in order to go the main land to buy their needs and also to go to school.
Despite with the challenges of monsoon season or the heavy rain, people in Bangladesh is still doing their best to live. As time goes by they are making means on how to live during the days of floods and during the normal season. With proper preparation they are now improving their lifestyle and they are not giving up in achieving their dream to live a proper life.
